Cape Town prepares to bring Africa’s creative industries together at FAME Week
Cape Town is preparing to host FAME Week Africa from 28 October to 1 November, with film, television, music, animation and fashion professionals expected to participate.
The organisers’ published programme places the main market, conference and exhibition at the Cape Town International Convention Centre’s CTICC 2 from 28 to 30 October.
The wider gathering brings together platforms including MIP Africa, Muziki Africa, the African Fashion Forum and the FAME Shorts Film Festival.
Activities are designed to connect creative professionals through screenings, industry discussions, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
For African producers and independent creators, the event offers a setting to explore distribution, collaboration and commercial partnerships alongside the cultural work itself.
