Queen Lozikeyi Academy Re - enforces squad for GWST Tournament in South Africa

Queen Lozikeyi Academy has re - enforced its squad ahead of the Prestigious Gauteng Women's Soccer Tournament taking place in Alberton Johannesburg South Africa on the 4th and 5th of November 2023.  Queen Lozikeyi's Zimbabwe Women's Super League Campaign has not been a glorious one. Entering the elite competition with little preparation and no adequate resources to attract the best talent in and around Bulawayo. Queen Lozikeyi has relied mostly on its under 15 academy students at one point fielding a considerable number of under 10s. The youngsters have fought bravely and in true spirit during the campaign but have barely passed the test as they are still too young to match the experienced players and teams with better resources. Most smaller teams have suffered with well-resourced teams mostly run by State Institutes attracting the best talent and becoming giants of the game in the country. Only 4 juniors from the regular squad playing in the league have made it to the final squad playing in South Africa whilst many players originally from Bulawayo have answered the call of duty and came to represent the team and all that it stands for.
